Variables
Variables are dynamic values that can only be used in certain locations and not everywhere like placeholders. They are mainly used in language files. The format of a variable is like this: [[<variable_name>]]. Example: [[target_display_name]].
When variables are about a specific context (user, channel, role or time), they are available with a prefix. For example: target or executor will be prefixes for user-related variables: [[target_username]], [[executor_mention]], etc.
